As most of you already know tomorrow morning I will be departing from Indianapolis to start my study abroad program. This past week has been a whirlwind of emotions. While I am extremely excited, and ready to get started, reality is beginning to set in and I am realizing everything and everyone I am going to miss. As boring as this may be for some of you I am going to take this time to thank a few people for being so amazing leading up to this point.
First and foremost I would like to thank my parents. Without their help financially and emotionally this trip would not be possible. Words can not describe how thankful I am for making this trip a reality. I love both of you very much. It's going to be extremely hard to say goodbye to you at the airport tomorrow morning, just know that I love you and always will. Can't wait to come back and tell you all about it. Can't forget Ben either, good luck with basketball keep me updated on the season.
Second, I would like to thank my Muncie family for putting up with my constant talk of Australia all last semester. I know it probably was a little excessive, but hey, I was excited! I would also like to thank you for being an amazing support system! I always know that I can count on one of you, or all of you, whenever I need encouragement. I love you Hillary, Emily, Adam, Kevin, Tyler, Mike, Walp, Bowling, Uncle Jeff Merritt, Uncle Jonathon. Pictionary or Jeopardy Skype dates?
Third, I would like to thank Liz Slater, Jake Scare, and Brandon Kerker. These three have been there done that and have been an incredible resource for my many questions. I feel 100 times more prepared for this trip thanks to the three of you! Thank you so much for all of your useful information and for taking such amazing pictures. I think I may have looked through each of your albums 10 times in just this past week!
Fourth, I would like to thank my friends. There are entirely too many of you to give personal shout outs to, but you know who you are! Thanks for always being there for me!
Last, but certainly not least, I would like to thank the Batesville High School cheerleaders and coaches. Jama, Dawn, and Brittney I don't even know where to begin with thanks to you guys. Tonight was amazing! I LOVE my picture frame and all the wonderful goodies to eat on the plane! I might be the most popular one going because I will definitely have some extras to share! To my cheerleaders, I love each and every one of you so much. I don't think you all realize exactly how much you mean to me and how easily you brighten my day. I am saving the cards you gave me tonight for the long journey down under. I am almost positive they will make me laugh and cry as I read them, thanks in advance for making me "that girl" on the plane. Be loud, smile, and always bleed blue! Go Bulldogs!
I know there are a few people I missed but at this point I am tired beyond words. Be sure to check back often to see what I am up to. Below you will find my flight information for anyone who wants to track where I am. Love you all, thanks for reading!
