Today we went to Gnibi College of Indigenous Australian Peoples near Southern Cross University. While we were there we were given a presentation on Aboriginal people and the hardships they face in today's society. Some of the statistics they told us were pretty shocking regarding the life expectancy of aboriginal people to non aboriginal people.
After eating lunch we headed to one of our volunteer opportunity locations, A house with no steps. This place is an organization that helps prepare people with disabilities acquire the skills to join the work force. It is a really cool organization and I can't wait to volunteer there. I will also be able to do part of my independent study work while I am there so that is an added bonus.
Shortly before sunset I decided to bike to the point with Brian and Aimee to see what the point looked like at sunset. Since the sun sets on the other side the colors weren't nearly as spectacular as sun rise will be but it was still pretty spectacular.

Once we got back we made dinner and made another attempt to play tennis but we again couldn't figure out how to turn the lights on so we gave up and went back. We will just have to play earlier I suppose.
