Wow, I can't believe we have been here 3 weeks already! Life here is beginning to normalize but it some parts still seem surreal. I'm not sure I will ever now be in awe of the ocean. I am having a blast and pushing myself to try new things. I've experienced my first international holiday internationally, had class on the beach, used the flattop grill for the first time, visited an aboriginal college, watched the sun set from the point, finished up my scuba certification, FINALLY got to play some tennis, and watched a natural light show from camp. Here are my highs and lows:
High: Figuring out how to turn the lights on at the tennis courts. We have been trying to play for 3 weeks now but can only find time after the sun has gone down. We have quite a few people who are wanting to play so I'm excited to see what happens once we start our intramural games.
Low: Homework is starting appear on my to do list and it is really cutting into my beach time...
